Skyborne’s Costin Airport Grant Infrastructure Project Has Been Completed for The Near Future Build of New Hangar
- Cutting-Edge Manufacturing: AIG will produce high-efficiency drone models (SVTOLs) at Skyborne’s facility, leveraging innovative manufacturing techniques like large-scale 3D printing for airframe parts, wing structures, and cockpits.
- Focus on Design and Innovation: An in-house design center will specialize in creating airships and drones using lightweight materials for superior performance.
- Ongoing Projects: Skyborne will continue the development of its low-altitude semi-rigid spherical airship at the Wewahitchka location.
- Costin Airport Operations: Both companies will utilize Skyborne’s Costin Airport for flight operations, supported by new infrastructure (airport road, water/sewer and power) which was funded by federal and state grants. A future hangar facility will house completed aircraft and airships.
- AIG's Technology Integration: AIG will integrate its custom drones with Skyborne’s lighter-than-air platforms, enhancing functionality for diverse applications.
- Economic Impact: The Wewahitchka facility will create high-paying jobs, including drone fabrication, digital design, and business development roles, to meet growing market demands.
- Government and Security Focus: AIG will manufacture licensed technologies, including VTOLs, energy generation systems, and propulsion systems, for government contracts and private security applications.
